Glaukos – Field Service Engineer (South Central-Remote)The Field Service Engineer III is a technical expert capable of providing advanced support in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our products in the field. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.Field Service Operations:Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of complex systems and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Provide advanced technical support to customers and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.Training and Knowledge Transfer:Train and mentor junior field service engineers, sharing technical expertise and best practices.Develop and deliver training programs for customers to enhance their understanding of our products.Technical Documentation:Create and maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation, including service reports, troubleshooting guides, and installation manuals.Communicate effectively with internal teams, providing insights and feedback for continuous improvement.Collaboration with R&D:Work closely with the Research and Development team to provide feedback on product performance, contributing to product improvement and innovation.Collaborate on the testing and validation of new products before market release.Continuous Learning:Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and product updates.Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance technical skills and knowledge.How will you get here?Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.5-8 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, with a focus on advanced technical support.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
