RN - MS Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: 2-3 years of experience in specialty Previous travel experience Ability to work effectively as part of a team Description:Unit has 30 beds.Holiday requests will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed.Must have experience with travel nursing.The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 5.Charge Nurse and clinical supervisor responsibilities include break relief.Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry; a dysrhythmia exam is required.There are no respiratory therapists on-site 24/7.Pharmacy services are available 24/7.Shifts are from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.Floating may occur to telemetry with a 1:4 ratio.Common diagnoses include medical patients and post-operative surgical patient populations.Must be adaptable to work into permanent staff rotation.Weekend requirement includes four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule.Two nurse aides are available on days and one on nights.Floor-specific orientation is provided for one shift on the unit.Candidates should be flexible and able to adapt to varied situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
