About the Position

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• BLS required - AHA ONLY
• Minimum two years of scrub experience required.
• Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.

Assignment Details:

• 12-hour shifts from 06:40 to 19:10.
• Scheduled every Saturday and Sunday.
• No call.
• If a holiday falls on the weekend, the holiday will be worked.
• First week orientation schedule: 5 shifts from 06:40 to 15:10.
• Will consider candidates interested in Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday scheduling as 3x12 or 4x12s.
• Tier 1 case mix includes GU/GYN, General, and transplant.
