Travel: Moderate (10-15%)

What You Will Do

Lead Culture Change and Team Transformation

• Build a high-performance culture that combines scientific rigor, AI innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead organizational change through clear priorities, accountability, and effective delivery practices.
• Foster strong partnerships across global teams, functions, and external collaborators to drive business impact.

Lead Statistics, Data Science, and Enterprise AI Enablement

• Champion the use of statistics, data science, and AI to solve complex business challenges and accelerate innovation.
• Drive enterprise-wide AI capability building and responsible technology adoption.
• Partner with leaders across the organization to develop future-ready AI skills and unlock new opportunities for growth and performance.

Lead Innovation and Modernization of Product Development Platforms

• Own the strategy and evolution of the Q.LIFE® Product Development Platform, advancing AI-enabled innovation across Lubrizol.
• Lead the development, governance, and scaling of AI and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, universities, and research organizations to accelerate innovation and capability development.

Expand Enterprise AI Impact Across Operations and Supply Chain

• Identify and lead high-value AI initiatives across manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain functions.
• Translate emerging technologies into practical solutions that improve productivity, decision-making, and business performance.
• Help shape Lubrizol's enterprise AI strategy and future direction.

Talent & Resource Development

• Lead, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of statisticians, data scientists, AI specialists, and digital transformation professionals.
• Build organizational capability through strategic hiring, coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
• Align resources and priorities to deliver business objectives and enable long-term growth.

Skills and Experience That Make a Difference

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years’ experience leading AI, data science, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives within technical or industrial environments.
• Proven success building and developing high-performing teams while leading large-scale business transformation.
• Experience scaling AI and machine learning solutions from concept through to production.
• Strong understanding of how AI and advanced analytics create value across product development, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward

• Experience within specialty chemicals, advanced materials, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Experience partnering with technology providers, universities, or research organizations.
• Experience leading global teams and cross-functional transformation programs.

You will engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT, R&D, and business leaders, to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions in a safe and inclusive environment.
