Senior Material Master Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities & RequirementsA Brief OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Master Data Governance Analyst with deep expertise in SAP Material Master and Materials Management (MM) to support a growing global program. This role is a hands-on, execution-focused position responsible for ensuring high-quality material master data and enabling efficient business processes across the organization.Success in this position requires a strong functional specialist who can actively manage, maintain, and optimize material master data while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesMaterial Master Data ManagementServe as a subject matter expert in SAP Material Master data structures, governance, and lifecycle managementMaintain, create, and update material master data in SAP to support business operationsEnsure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across global systemsEnforce data governance standards, policies, and best practicesData Governance & QualityIdentify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and duplication across systemsExecute data cleansing and harmonization initiatives as part of ongoing improvement effortsSupport development and adherence to data governance frameworks and controlsMonitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIsBusiness Process IntegrationPartner with business stakeholders (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.) to understand process requirementsEnsure material master data supports end-to-end business processes, including:Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Order-to-Cash (O2C)Manufacturing / Production PlanningAnalyze data dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts across SAP modulesProgram & Implementation SupportSupport global SAP rollout and stabilization efforts, including data readiness and transition activitiesParticipate in data migration, validation, and cutover tasksAssist in driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and data qualityCollaborate with technical teams on enhancements, integrations, and automation opportunitiesQualifications5+ years of experience in SAP with a strong focus on:Material Master DataSAP Materials Management (MM)Deep understanding of:Material types, views, and attributesData dependencies across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.)Proven experience in data governance, data quality, or master data management rolesHands-on, detail-oriented approach with a strong ability to execute and problem-solveExperience supporting global or enterprise-scale SAP environmentsStrong communication skills to partner with both technical and functional stakeholdersStrong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders preferredFamiliarity with data governance and data security best practices preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting S/4HANA transformations or large-scale SAP rolloutsExposure to manufacturing environments and related data structuresFamiliarity with data migration tools, governance tools, or MDG solutionsExperience working in global teams across time zonesPhysical DemandsThis role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.MiTek Perks:Generous time off including Paid Time Off, 13 annual holidays, and volunteer time offDay One Medical/Rx, Dental and Vision PlansFamily friendly benefits including Paid Caregiver Leave, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption ReimbursementPerformance/Incentive bonuses Career advancement, training opportunities, Employee Resource Groups, and tuition reimbursementRetirement programs including Matching 401(k) Contributions and Profit Sharing Employer paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life InsurancemyFlexPay partner – allows you to track, manage and access your pay anytimeMiTek is a platform innovator and enabler that exists to transform the building industry with better building solutions.
