2943 Oak Lake Blvd, Midlothian , Virginia 23112 , United States Job Description Branch Counter Sales Associate ­‑ HVAC Products | Carrier Enterprise Carrier Enterprise, a national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, seeks a dynamic Branch Sales Associate. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to HVAC/R professionals and contractors. In this role you will: Serve as the face of the branch, greeting customers and providing expert advice on HVAC/R products. Process orders accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Maintain deep product knowledge, staying current with industry trends. Manage inventory on the sales floor and conduct regular counts. Assist customers with technical troubleshooting of HVAC/R equipment. Ensure safety compliance and a clean counter area. Complete necessary documentation for all customer transactions. Travel occasionally for training, meetings, or other work‑related activities. Qualifications Prior customer service experience. Leadership experience with profit and loss responsibility preferred. Experience leading people in a retail environment. Ability to grow sales rapidly in a retail setting. Experience building and maintaining cross‑functional relationships. Analytical skills using customer, market, and competitor data. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with HVAC contractors. Computer literacy, proficient in MS Office. Team player willing to participate in a collaborative environment. Technical aptitude suitable for a technical environment. Experience with sales and/or inventory management systems. Requirements High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience managing in a B2B distribution or wholesale sales environment preferred. Excellent relationship‑building skills; a team builder and player.
