Product Owner

Job Description: Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Product Owner (Digital Financial Services) with a leading automotive financial services client supporting customer-facing digital platforms. This role will focus on enhancing web and mobile customer experiences, expanding self-service payment capabilities, and supporting a Salesforce-driven service ecosystem. Location: Torrance, CA Onsite expectation: Onsite 4 days per week Pay range: $40-$67.2/hour Must-Have Skills & Experience 3–5+ years of product management, product development, or product operations experience supporting customer-facing digital products 2+ years of experience in payments systems, financial services, or lending/finance platforms 2–4+ years of experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing Agile/Scrum ceremonies 2–4+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, QA, UX, and business stakeholders 1–3+ years of experience managing product backlogs, prioritization, and roadmap planning Strong experience supporting UAT, including test script creation, execution, and defect triage Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across both business and technical teams Preferred Skills & Experience SAFe Agile certification (or similar Agile/Product Owner certification) Experience with Salesforce platform (Salesforce Admin or related certification preferred) 2–4+ years of experience supporting CRM-driven digital ecosystems or customer service platforms Experience with mobile applications, including product launch and post-launch support 1–3+ years of experience in data analysis, metrics tracking, and data-driven decision making Experience supporting production environments, including incident management, SLAs, and vendor coordination Background working with customer communications platforms (email, SMS, messaging, or marketing cloud tools) Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required Agile certification (Certified Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, or SAFe Agile preferred) Salesforce certification preferred; or ability to obtain Salesforce Administrator certification within the first year Benefits Overview Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and an optional Health Savings Account.
