Overview:
Join a collaborative engineering team focused on consumer loan model execution, data integration, and cloud-native application deployment. You'll help ensure high-quality releases by developing and executing automated tests for complex data-driven systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web-based APIs and data integrations.
• Perform integration, regression, and load testing using tools such as K6, ReadyAPI, JMeter, and Gatling.
• Validate mapping and processing of thousands of data attributes in consumer loan models, ensuring data integrity across feature stores, data lakes, and Snowflake repositories.
• Collaborate with engineers during sprints to design, implement, and test new features and integrations.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement reviews.
• Communicate findings, defects, and potential solutions clearly to product management and engineering teams.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with Java and ability to read/decipher Java code.
• Familiarity with Flink and Kafka for messaging integrations.
• Experience with automated testing tools (K6, ReadyAPI, JMeter, Gatling).
• Understanding of data inputs/outputs and data mapping in large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in financial services or lending industry.
• Background in software development and QA.

Other Details:

• 100% remote; future contract-to-hire may require residence within 50 miles of Baltimore, Irving (TX), Evansville (IN), Wilmington (DE), Charlotte (NC), or Fort Mill (NC).
• Contract position, renewable every six months.
• No degree or certification required; 3-5 years relevant experience preferred.

Team Environment:

• Nine-person team, expanding with additional SDETs planned.
• Close collaboration with product management, data, and model services teams.
