KENOSHA AND RACINE - Companion Volunteer Opportunity With Hospice Patients
Legacy Hospice, Inc.
At Legacy Hospice, we are firm believers that our patients and their families come first to provide excellent care during this transitional period of time in life’s journey.
We are currently seeking for volunteers to provide companionship through visitations to our patients. These visits will be one on one with patients that may engage in activities but not limited to: being a comforting and supportive presence, reminiscing life events, reading a story, playing music or singing, creating art projects, listening to patient’s concerns, and communicating the needs of the patient/family to hospice staff.
We serve patients and their families throughout the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Dodge, Walworth, Racine, Kenosha county and surrounding areas. We are able to provide a flexible schedule dependent on the volunteers availability and proximity of available locations.
