Cybersecurity Engineer SME

Providing expert support and analysis, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Engineer SME will address complex cybersecurity challenges, recommend software tools, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions while working under consultative direction. Key responsibilities Serve as a technical expert for the Cybersecurity Assessment Program, offering direction and alternatives for complex problems Conduct CCRI, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on various IT frameworks and applications Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their progression into final products, ensuring compliance with DOD security regulations Required qualifications Seven years of IT experience and five years of cybersecurity experience Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks and applications Command Cyber Readiness Inspection certification in relevant areas Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority in cybersecurity Possession of a DOD SECRET Clearance and eligibility for IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
