Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of current CVICU experience required License: Active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Open-heart experience required Prior Cerner experience strongly preferred COVID and flu vaccination required
Description: Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within the assigned unit area. Plans nursing care to meet the needs of each patient. Ensures nursing care plans are executed through the performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. Conducts patient evaluations, performs documentation of patient progress, treatment planning, and discharge functions.
