We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety and professionalism on every job site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, thermostats, and related components
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures
• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and inventory usage
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency service calls as needed
• Keep service vehicle clean, stocked, and organized
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC service or installation experience preferred
• EPA Certification highly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of HVAC tools, equipment, and safety practices
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience with residential and light commercial systems
• NATE Certification or additional HVAC certifications
• Familiarity with smart thermostats and modern HVAC technology
• Sales or upselling experience is a plus

Work Environment

• Field-based position with travel to customer locations
• Occasional evening, weekend, or emergency service work may be required
• Physical demands include standing, climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in confined spaces
