Very busy Family Medicine office looking to add to our team. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, courteous and reliable. 1 year Medical Receptionist experience required. Must be able to work a rotation of evening hours.
DUTIES:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Provide information to callers and visitors about the company and its services
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry using EMR system
- Insurance verification through multiple portals
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Ensure patient data is updated in EMR system
- Collect copays/deductibles
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as medical receptionist required (at least 1 year)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, prefer bilinguial
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time/in person
Pay: From $15/hour based on experience
