Work Environment\nThis role is set in a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a robust connection with the therapeutic team and our clients. Our work hours are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts required to accommodate the needs of our patients. As a team member, you will thrive in a collaborative atmosphere where communication is key, ensuring seamless teamwork with multidisciplinary professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and objectives of clients pursuing treatment for substance use disorders. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to individual recovery goals. \n
- Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, focusing on building trust and rapport with clients. \n
- Facilitate group therapy sessions geared towards sharing experiences and fostering support among participants. \n
- Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and integrative care for clients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies related to substance use, demonstrating responsiveness and critical thinking. \n
- Educate clients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to bolster support systems. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and integrity of records. \n
- Engage in team meetings and ongoing training to stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in addiction treatment methodologies. \n
Your primary focus will be working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are facing substance use disorders, impacting not only their lives but also their families. By offering compassionate, evidence-based care, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their recovery process, addressing both the psychological and social components of addiction.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders and a strong grasp of evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Demonstrable experience in providing both individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor. \n
- A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical guidelines, and ensuring patient confidentiality. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications. \n
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. \n

- Previous experience working in a community health setting focused on substance use recovery. \n
- Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques related to addiction recovery will be an advantage. \n
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus upon onboarding. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
