Job Title: CVOR Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant specialty required License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: BLS certification is required Must-Have: Experience with open heart, lung, Davinci, and TAVR procedures Description: This position is for a CVOR Surgical Tech. Experience in open heart, lung, Davinci, and TAVR procedures is required. The shift is days, 5x8s from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday. Weeknight and weekend call is required. The surgical team performs various cardiothoracic surgeries including CABGs, AVR, MVR, TAVR, Robotic Thoracoscopy, Thoracotomies, and more. Applicants should have the ability to scrub in surgeries such as thoracotomy and thoracoscopy. Special equipment experience, especially with DaVinci systems, is preferred. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to accommodate department needs. No local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius. Candidates must be willing to participate in on-call rotations, with a potential for 1-2 nights a week and every 3rd-4th weekend. All candidates should be prepared to meet compliance requirements promptly.
