Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal standards. Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or site leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security experience Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
