Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) - Night shift. This position involves providing professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team, managing patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires quick candidate interviews via phone call or text, with assignments beginning on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027, working 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: One or more years of experience in medical surgical nursing, active Iowa or Iowa compact license, current BLS certification (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), drivers license, and skills specific to the medical surgical discipline.
• Preferred Qualifications: First-time traveler accepted, Heparin experience, and experience floating within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Additional Information: The role involves contributing clinical expertise within a Level 3 Trauma Center. It requires mandatory reporting, with specific orientation dates on 10/12 and 10/26. The position excludes weekend call but includes every other weekend work. Candidate must adhere to the local radius rule requiring candidates to be at least 50 miles from the facility.
