Quick Facts Location: 888 Pine Street, Macon, GA 31201 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday), 8-hour weekends, and 16-hour nights (4 days/week); no on-call Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent License/Certs: Must be Board Certified in Neonatal Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Experience: 2+ years of NNP experience required (excluding RN experience) Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00 Pay Package: Competitive and discussed upon application Benefits Include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance (W-2) Life Insurance and Disability options Paid sick time Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable 401(k) with match Employee stock purchase program (15% discount) Pre-tax HSA and FSA plans Hospital, critical illness, and accident insurance options Employee Assistance Program (EAP) What You’ll Do Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level-III NICU environment Utilize advanced techniques including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling Collaborate closely with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams Conduct assessments and monitor critically ill neonates Support family education and documentation requirements Participate in clinical appointments and teaching at Mercer Medical School Maintain best practice protocols and ensure adherence to hospital policies What You Need Valid Neonatal Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification 2+ years of relevant neonatal experience (not including RN experience) Strong clinical skills in Neonatology and high acuity care Ability to work independently during night shifts and variable schedules Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment Join a renowned hospital in Macon, Georgia, recognized for its Neonatal Intensive Care services and nursing excellence—a Magnet Designated facility and regional perinatal/neonatal center.
