Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical science or related laboratory discipline, or relevant compounding experience.
• Experience working in a laboratory or compounding environment, handling equipment and materials according to procedures.
• Ability to perform extractions, filtrations, clarification, and compounding tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Competence in operating laboratory instruments such as centrifuges, ball mills, freeze dryers, pH meters, and related equipment.
• Capability to follow calibration and verification protocols for laboratory instruments and maintain accurate records.
• Strong documentation skills for recording calibration activities, maintenance, cleaning logs, and FTQ paperwork.
• Comfort working with laboratory chemicals such as ether and acetone while following safety guidelines.
• Ability to learn and perform SAP-related duties, including goods movements and transaction codes such as COR6N.
• Go-getter attitude with a growth mentality and willingness to advance within the organization.
• Ability to work full-time on a fixed day shift schedule and complete training on the assigned shift.

Work Environment

• This role is based in a laboratory and production environment that involves working directly with allergens as part of the manufacturing process.
• Candidates must be able to safely work around these materials and follow all safety and handling procedures to minimize risk of reactions.
• The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with training conducted on the same shift.
• The environment includes the use of laboratory instruments such as centrifuges, freeze dryers, ball mills, pH meters, scales, freezers, dialysis tanks, and other specialized equipment.
• Work is performed in controlled work areas that require consistent cleaning, sanitizing, and adherence to aseptic practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Port Washington, NY.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Port Washington,NY.
