RN - PCU

Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week (07:00-19:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ICU background and be capable of delivering high-quality patient care in a challenging environment. This role requires flexibility with call requirements and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our adult and geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to ICU patients.
• Monitor and manage patient health conditions, including critical care situations.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with emergency procedures and care protocols.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an ICU setting.
• Travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
