Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 2:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays as needed)
Training: Start on day shift for training

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to help keep equipment and machinery running safely and efficiently. This role involves repairing, troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, preventive maintenance, and maintaining heavy industrial equipment.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Repair and maintain conveyors, sorting systems, forklifts, loaders, trailers, and other heavy equipment
• Complete welding and fabrication projects as needed
• Maintain parts inventory and maintenance records
• Inspect equipment daily and schedule repairs when necessary
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience working on large equipment required
• Welding (MIG and Stick) and fabrication experience required
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems preferred
• Ability to stay organized and maintain accurate records
• Forklift, loader, or heavy equipment experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds regularly

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around heavy industrial equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial yard environment and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Occasional outdoor work and weekend maintenance may be required.
