Controller Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of audit schedules as required.
- Guarantee the presentation of all financial statements complies with established accounting standards.
- Ensure profitability reports are generated both promptly and correctly.
- Oversee proper month-end closing procedures.
- Experience with GAAP
- Manage liquidity levels to ensure optimal operation while maximizing income.
- Attend and contribute to committee meetings, delivering necessary reports.
- Ensure accurate and on-time submission of all required tax documentation and regulatory forms.
- Ensure investments are appropriately accounted for in line with established accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience overseeing an accounting department.
- A minimum of five years of experience in budgeting, account management, financial analysis, and reporting.
- A CPA License or a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in accounting is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
