Position Summary

JOEY is seeking a driven and relationship-focused field sales professional to help grow our retail presence and brand visibility across the San Diego market. This role will be responsible for building strong retailer partnerships, driving product sell-through, ensuring excellent in-store merchandising and execution, as well as expanding JOEY’s footprint across new retail locations.

This is a highly visible, field-based role that requires regular travel throughout the San Diego market and hands-on engagement with retail partners and consumers. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about building brands in the field

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and nurture relationships with retailers purchasing JOEY products, serving as their primary point of contact 

· Conduct regular store visits to ensure products are properly displayed, merchandising materials are in place, and shelves remain fully stocked 

· Monitor inventory levels and proactively drive reorders by identifying low-stock situations and sell-through trends with retail partners 

· Collect and report field feedback on product performance, including what is selling, what is not, and key market insights behind retailer and consumer behavior 

· Prospect and onboard new customers, increasing the number of retail locations carrying JOEY products 

· Support local sales initiatives and execute brand-building strategies within the San Diego market 

· Maintain strong communication with internal teams regarding market opportunities, competitive activity, and retailer needs 

• 2+ years of experience in field sales, account management, territory management, or retail sales within CPG, tobacco, nicotine, beverage, alcohol, or related industries preferred 
• Strong relationship-building and customer management skills 
• Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or retail partners is highly preferred 
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment 
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills 
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout San Diego
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required 
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed for events and activations
