SQL DBA
Location: onsite 1st month in Miami, FL; then remote Length: 12 months
Database Design: Create and modify database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and relationships based on business requirements.
Data Modeling: Design and implement data models to organize and structure data effectively.
Data Manipulation: Write SQL queries to insert, update, delete, and retrieve data from the database.
Data Migration and Deployments: Migrate data from one database to another, often during deployments.
Performance tuning: Analyze query performance and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.
SQL Querying: Write SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases.
Data Visualization (Dashboards): Develop dashboards that gather data from various sources, such as relational databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, to facilitate analysis.
SSRS Reports: Design, develop, and deploy reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including layout design, data visualization, and parametrization.
SSIS Package: Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Additionally, deploy SSIS packages to transfer and load data between different systems and databases. Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data migration, data warehousing, and business intelligence initiatives, ensuring data integrity.
Experience in Relevant Tools and Technologies: MS Visual Studio SSDT Tools, SSMS, E/R Studio, Stylus Studio, Microsoft PowerBI, SQL Reporting Services and SQL Integration Services.
