Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity near Wilmington, DE as an Occupational Therapist, supporting students from early childhood through elementary school. In this onsite-only role, you'll first cover a maternity leave split between an elementary school and an Early Learning Center. Once the maternity leave concludes, you’ll provide full-time support at the Early Learning Center for the remainder of the school year.

This position is ideal for a skilled Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in educational settings, especially those who excel in evaluations and direct interventions. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in both therapeutic evaluations and direct services
• Confidence working with both elementary-aged children and early childhood populations
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for students with diverse needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough, student-centered occupational therapy evaluations
• Deliver engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support optimal student outcomes
• Transition duties as needed following the maternity leave period
• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
