Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with departmental needs and adheres to state and specialty practice standards. Working alongside medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes that enhance overall departmental performance.

• Regularly assesses patient pain to ensure effective pain management, including follow-up assessments after interventions.
• Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, documenting care in the patient’s medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Delivers outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests and proactively addressing their needs.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-medical follow-up measures, including healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention, preparing them for future self-management.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
