Ennen Eye Center | Fort Smith, ArkansasEnnen Eye Center is seeking an experienced, positive, and highly organized Patient Services Manager tolead our Patient Services Team.This is a key leadership position within our practice. The Patient Services Manager oversees the teamresponsible for creating an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through check-in,scheduling, and checkout. Just as importantly, this individual will help build a collaborative culture in whichPatient Services and our clinical teams work together toward one goal: providing outstanding care to everypatient.What We are Looking For:We are looking for a leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and creating a positive andaccountable workplace. The ideal candidate is approachable but confident, communicates clearly, andunderstands that a strong culture requires both support and accountability.This position is an excellent fit for someone who has successfully led a front-office, patient-access, orpatient-services team in a medical practice or other healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and support the Patient Services Team- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture- Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance andprofessionalism- Oversee patient scheduling, registration, check-in, checkout, telephone communication, and relatedworkflows- Ensure patients receive a welcoming, efficient, and consistent experience- Foster effective communication and teamwork between Patient Services and clinical staff- Manage staffing schedules and daily coverage- Train and onboard new Patient Services employees- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction- Address employee concerns directly and professionally- Help resolve patient concerns and service issues- Work closely with physicians, administration, and clinical leadership- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and ensure compliance with practice policies and healthcareregulationsQualifications - Previous supervisory or management experience required- Experience leading a patient-facing team is highly desirable- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Demonstrated ability to coach employees and manage workplace conflict constructively- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail- Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment- Able to balance excellent customer service with operational efficiency and accountability- Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented leadership styleThe Leader We WantTechnical experience matters, but leadership ability and cultural fit are especially important to us.We want someone who builds people up while maintaining high standards.
