Full‑time associates in role are also eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. To support our associates in their journey to become a U.S. citizen, Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N‑400) application costs, up to $725, less applicable taxes and withholding, for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year. Responsibilities Generate high‑volume recurring streams of new move‑in revenue for assigned Brookdale communities experiencing non‑exempt sales associate vacancies. Prioritize the outperformance of budgeted sales goals and community revenue targets. Represent the ideal Brookdale sales professional and promote a mission‑driven sales culture. Employ unique insights from current community to optimize sales in next assignment. Travel to communities within a specified geographic area; assignments may vary in length. Drive rapid occupancy growth and prioritize rate integrity by conducting high‑quality phone and in‑person sales calls that convert to move‑ins. Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant sales‑specific software and CRM systems; perform accurate data entry and periodic database cleanup. Communicate current product information to appropriate community associates daily; attend daily stand‑up. Maintain knowledge of relevant competition in assigned markets. Provide accurate and timely move‑in forecasts as requested. Communicate incoming residents’ needs and preferences to the Executive Director and/or community associate(s) to enhance customer satisfaction upon move‑in. Foster a positive image of each assigned community and the Brookdale brand with all customers, residents, associates, and relevant professionals/volunteers. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field and one to two years of experience. Additional years of related work experience may replace the education requirement on a year‑for‑year basis up to four years. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements Requires a valid driver’s license and frequent car and/or air travel as needed. Management/Decision Making Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these. Knowledge and Skills Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, state regulations affecting services, and functional discipline. Ability to operate smartphones, personal computers, and related software; manage time, tasks, and projects dynamically; build trust and act honestly; assess and understand customer expectations; work with diverse personalities; communicate verbally and in writing effectively. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Standing, walking, sitting; use hands and fingers. Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Talk or hear; lift up to 25 pounds. Vision; interaction with co‑workers, residents, or vendors. Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage. Frequent travel.
