Specifically, this team develops and supports custom applications and the integration of vendor applications to enable Fidelity’s Legal Department.We have a passion for technology! We love to collaborate, share and grow knowledge.We like open communication and people who are self-motivated, can take initiative, and can make decisions with a bias toward action.The Expertise We Are Looking ForYou must have:A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Advanced Mathematics or equivalent work experience6-9+ years of proven experience with Java development, could have REST-based services experience3+ years of hands-on experience with crafting solutions that involve integrating various SaaS products and building cloud native, web-based applications (AWS preferred)2+ years of experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypescriptYou should have:Experience with DevOps/Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins Core, Git, Artifactory and Jira, or equivalents) and Automation Tools/Frameworks including Unit, Component, Functional, Performance, and Security testingExperience deploying with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)Experience working with an RDBMS such as Oracle (Amazon RDS preferred)Experience in Agile methodologies or iterative development processesThe Skills You BringYou are a quick learner and open to learning new tools and developing with the latest technologies/ frameworks.You have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally with engineers, product managers and business partners.You have a full grasp of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planningYou are able to apply robust critical thinking and analytical skills to diagnose issues and resolve problemsThe Value You DeliverActively participating in solution design discussions with product owners, top engineers and architectsBuilding quality code that adheres to sound design and architecture patterns and engineering excellence standardsUsing Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development practices and crafting robust unit test cases to deliver high quality productsWilling to provide support during U.S. business hours and participate in 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis
