We are looking for a full-time medical scribe to support the physician by documenting patient encounters in real time, update/summarize medical records, and assist with routine clerical tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Spanish bilingual or good listening comprehension skills in Spanish
2. Strong typing and computer skills
3. Familiarity with medical terminology
4. Familiarity with EHR systems
5. HIPAA awareness
6. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
This opening is for a busy liver disease clinic with over 20 years of presence in downtown Los Angeles. Benefits available after a three-month trial. The job is in person with an option to work remotely on occasion once fully trained.
