Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or with collaborative support (depending on credentialing)
• Educating patients and their families regarding prevention strategies, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care coordination
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, seamless care
• Meticulously documenting within electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure accuracy

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensures and Certifications Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in a specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or secured within a 90-day timeframe)
