Job Summary:

St Luke Portage Lakes is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant PTA to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other injuries or conditions

• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, stretches, and modalities

• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio
