Step into an impactful role supporting students’ success as a School Psychologist in the Baton Rouge, LA, area. This is a contract opportunity starting July 27, 2026, and running through May 24, 2027, where your expertise will help guide K-12 students’ academic, social, behavioral, and emotional growth. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome. A couple of professional development days kick off the assignment, offering a great opportunity to connect with new colleagues.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) certification in School Psychology
• Experience working with K-12 student populations, ideally in school or educational settings
• Ability to handle diverse caseloads with sensitivity and professionalism
• Strong communication, consultative, and collaborative skills
• Must be able and willing to complete district fingerprinting and background check as part of the credentialing process
• Comfortable with onsite school services and flexible regarding specific campus assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Help promote a positive and inclusive school environment
• Maintain timely and detailed documentation in accordance with district policies
