Delivery Helper

Position Summary The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, prepare and restore the job site, prepare the truck for the following day, and maintain the truck and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel. Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of the order. Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer. Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck. Navigate routes to the job site. Basic Qualifications Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately. Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. and carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound. Core Competencies Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job sites. Position self to unload and load materials from flatbeds or booms. Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs while unloading and loading flatbeds. Communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations. Work outdoors while making deliveries. Required Cognitive Skills Prioritize job sites and deadlines. Manage stress depending on customer deadlines. Multitask effectively.
