Remote Data Entry Clerk

Responsibilities

• Enter and update information into databases and internal systems with speed and accuracy
• Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct as needed
• Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents
• Sort, organize, and file digital records and documents
• Generate reports and summaries from entered data as requested
• Respond to requests for information and retrieve records as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information
• Communicate with team members regarding data discrepancies or issues
• Meet daily and weekly data entry productivity and accuracy targets
• Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No prior professional experience required, though prior data entry or office experience is a plus
• Strong typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
