Full-time Hospitalist Position with Dignity Health Medical Group in Beautiful Santa Cruz, CA!

As our Hospitalist, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, a physician-led, patient-centered organization, in beautiful Santa Cruz, California. You will become a vital part of our well-established, collegial team at Dominican Hospital, providing high-quality inpatient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. Embrace the quintessential California lifestyle in Santa Cruz, renowned for its stunning coastline, vibrant community, and abundant outdoor activities.

You will provide comprehensive inpatient care with a blend of rounding and admitting/swing shifts. This role emphasizes physician autonomy and quality of care within an Open ICU setting, with no procedures or codes required (though optional procedures are available if desired). You'll have the opportunity to precept and mentor APPs and residents, contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals. Additional admitting/swing shifts are also available for extra compensation, allowing you to tailor your schedule and earning potential.

We are offering a competitive annual salary ranging from $315k-$340k, with productivity-based bonus potential. You will also receive a generous Sign-on Bonus up to $40,000 and Relocation Assistance of $20,000. Your comprehensive benefits package includes 100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage, an employer-sponsored pension and 401(k) with matching, a CME allowance, and malpractice coverage. As a PSLF-eligible employer, this position also offers significant student loan forgiveness opportunities.

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
