Assistant Club Manager

Gym Assistant

To assist the Gym Manager in leading a high performing club, delivering exceptional operational standards and member engagement. This role is responsible for the everyday running of the gym.

To assist the Gym Manager in and be responsible for:

1. Deliver a safe & legal environment in your club at all times ensuring policies and procedures are always adhered to.
2. Ensure first class delivery of our TrainSafe principles at all times to keep the team and members safe.
3. Delivering operational excellence through following the Fit to Run rhythm and routine and ensuring all activity is carried out 'right first time.'
4. Support in driving club performance.
5. Deliver a great member experience on every visit by being highly visible in the club to enable member feedback to be listened to, and proactively actioned, so we are always best at our busiest.
6. Role model and coach the team to understand and demonstrate high performance in all areas of their responsibilities.
7. Support any recruitment activity to ensure we are providing the best candidate experience
8. Deliver a quality onboarding and induction journey to all new team members that will set them up for success by ensuring they are both confident and competent.
9. Deliver a fit for purpose and highly successful group ex offering that meets the needs of your members.
10. Have commercial and competitor awareness to be able to support your Gym Manager in creating a competitive advantage

Requirements:

• Has a passion for fitness and wellbeing and the positive difference it can make to our members' lives.
• Will be an ambassador for the Pure Fitness brand, who lives and breathes our values and role models them to their team to drive the right culture in club.
• Is tenacious, shows real integrity and has the desire to do the right thing to a high standard at all times.
• Is a highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to their work.
• Has a good understanding of gym operational standards, including facility management and health and safety.
• Is a real people person that can support the Gym Manager to attract, develop and retain a high performing team.
• Takes ownership of their own personal development.
• Has good working knowledge of basic IT, Microsoft packages and a sound knowledge of social media platforms.
