Senior .NET Developer

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of application and database development experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team; experience with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban and ITSM protocols.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to own features from requirements and design through implementation, release, and production support.
• Proficiency in C# and modern .NET, including production experience with Blazor Server, component design, performance, state management, and interactivity.
• Experience with a Blazor component library such as Radzen, Telerik, or Syncfusion; building and consuming RESTful ASP.NET Web APIs; and familiarity with SOAP/WCF.
• Working knowledge of micro-ORM/ADO.NET data access, Entity Framework Core, JavaScript/TypeScript interop, dependency injection, async/await, SOLID principles, and unit and integration testing.
• Advanced T-SQL skills, including stored procedures, typed parameters, views, indexing, execution plans, and query tuning at scale; experience optimizing queries against read-only sources.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database, including elastic pools and multi-tenant architectures; SSIS, SQL Agent, and Azure Data Factory ETL development; and reporting or warehouse schema design and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Azure App Service, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Application Insights, Front Door/WAF, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD B2C, managed identities, and App Service Authentication.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Repos, Boards, YAML and classic release pipelines, Git branch policies, and pull-request workflows; ability to diagnose production issues across application, database, and data-pipeline layers.
• Demonstrated experience developing software that handles PHI under HIPAA, plus understanding of EHR data models and clinical, financial, and operational workflows.
• Experience integrating large language model APIs into production applications, including structured output, caching, batch processing, and cost control; understanding of de-identification practices that keep regulated data out of AI pipelines.
• Healthcare industry knowledge is an advantage; long-term care, skilled nursing, and post-acute experience are highly desirable.
• Preferred: engineering experience at a long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute software vendor; familiarity with CMS submission channels and quality datasets; HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR (US Core/USCDI), 837I institutional claims, or NCPDP/EPCS; exposure to ONC Health IT Certification requirements; rules engines or domain-specific language configuration; document generation or OCR; and multi-tenant SaaS onboarding and rollouts.

• Design, code, test, and deploy applications and features in Azure, including functional components for existing applications.
• Build and extend our multi-tenant SaaS platform and internal Blazor applications for reporting, interactive workflows, market intelligence, quality benchmarking, and customer success.
• Develop and tune stored procedures, views, and reporting queries that support our analytics screens.
• Maintain Azure SQL databases and develop and monitor SSIS and Azure Data Factory pipelines that load client EHR data into per-tenant databases.
• Support client onboarding by validating data downstream of ETL processes and unit-testing results for accuracy.
• Use AI tools to improve the software development lifecycle and extend AI-driven features while preserving de-identification boundaries for PHI.
• Track work and deployments in Azure DevOps, participate in code reviews and pull-request workflows, and support releases to production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across application, database, and data-pipeline layers.
• Document designs, development conventions, and operational runbooks.
• Maintain the confidentiality of information processed, stored, or accessed, and perform other duties as assigned.
