Senior Electrical Engineer - Onsite Defense Systems

No C2C or 3rd Parties *** Summary The Ash Group is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for our client, a global leader providing advanced systems and support in defense, aerospace, and security. This is a 12-month contract working in Minneapolis, MN (Onsite) offering a pay rate of $60 per hour based on skillset. Duration: 12-month contract Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite) What You’ll Be Doing Researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components. Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures. Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, services, and their ability to deliver required products or services. Will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. Provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product applications. What We’re Looking For Requires 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 2+ years with a Master's degree Must have experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis Experience developing technical documentation – such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis is required Must have the ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings is required Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
