Inventory Control Specialist - 1st Shift

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am -3:30pm start hours may vary

Pay:$20-$24/hour depending on experience


ResponsibilitiesMonitor inventory accuracy, labeling accuracy, lot tracking, weight accuracy, and First In, First Out (FIFO) compliance using system-generated reports.


Generate inventory and production reports from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as needed.


Identify inventory discrepancies and process issues, then communicate findings to supervisors.


Review material requirements and communicate shortages to appropriate personnel.


Coordinate with purchasing and receiving teams to help ensure materials arrive on schedule.


Perform and assist with inventory cycle counts throughout the facility.


Maintain quality, food safety, and inventory control standards while completing daily tasks.


QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.


Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, or related work preferred.


Strong attention to detail and math skills.


Basic problem-solving and written communication skills.


Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.


Fork truck certification preferred.
