Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to work independently while following school protocols and collaborating with educational teams
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care for a student, including medication administration, monitoring, and support throughout the school day
• Maintain accurate health records, care plans, and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
• Communicate promptly with school personnel and guardians regarding student health matters
• Respond effectively to emergencies and implement care protocols as needed
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
