Orthopedic Surgeon Advisor

Seeking experienced orthopedic surgeons, the part-time Orthopedic Surgeon Advisor will provide clinical, surgical, operational, and strategic insights to evaluate and support healthcare startups within a remote advisory role, focusing on improving musculoskeletal care and innovation. Key responsibilities Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups related to orthopedics and musculoskeletal care Support evaluation of healthcare startups, assessing business models, clinical relevance, and scalability Advise portfolio companies on orthopedic workflows, patient care pathways, and commercialization strategies Required qualifications MD or DO with experience in orthopedic surgery Board certification or board eligibility in orthopedic surgery preferred Experience in musculoskeletal care, surgical innovation, and healthcare technology preferred Strong understanding of orthopedic workflows and real-world barriers to healthcare technology adoption Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
