Housekeeper Utility (Full Time)

We are hiring a full-time Housekeeper Utility at Prisma Health Parkridge in Columbia, SC, with a schedule from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and days may vary. Candidates are preferred to have prior cleaning experience, but training will be provided. The pay range for this position is between $18.00 to $23.04 per hour. Essential duties include maintaining facility cleanliness, servicing cleaning equipment, and following safety protocols for hazardous materials. Maintains facility areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly. Essential duties and responsibilities include maintaining and servicing cleaning equipment, stocking cleaning carts with supplies, maintaining cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets, collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols, fixing and maintaining cleaning equipment, identifying potential safety hazards and acting accordingly. Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time, ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds, ability to follow written and oral instructions in English, mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment, great communication skills.
