Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Prior experience working in school health settings highly preferred
• Familiarity with care planning, electronic health records, and immunization compliance
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs
• Administer medications, manage health plans, and respond to student emergencies as required
• Conduct routine health screenings, maintain accurate health records, and support immunization programs
• Partner with educators to implement health education initiatives for students and staff
• Act as a resource for health-related information, supporting a safe and inclusive school environment
• Communicate effectively with families regarding health concerns, care instructions, and referrals

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.70 to $52.70. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
