Senior Cost AccountantThe A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening Senior Cost Accountant for an international manufacturing client. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with inventory control, and demonstrated ability to work with multiple departments to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, direct labor, overhead, scrap, and landed costsPerform variance cost analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisOversee inventory accounting activities including cycle count reconciliations, scrap, and shrinkageCollaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure accurate BOMs and routing dataDevelop and maintain financial models and cost analysis to accurately provide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning dataServe as a key advisor to management on inventory, costing, and manufacturing finance mattersQualificationsEducation Required:Bachelor's degree in AccountingExperience Required:5+ years in an accounting role in a manufacturing environmentExperience using a manufacturing ERP such as SAP, Sage, or SytelineExperience with inventory control variances and analysisStrong analytical skills
