Forklift Driver

DESCRIPTION

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility. This position ensures accurate material handling, supports production needs, maintains inventory flow, and follows all safety procedures and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
• Supply production areas with materials as needed to support operations.
• Verify quantities, labels, and locations of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and paperwork.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Assist with other warehouse and production duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
