The Department of Corrections Health Services Division is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to take on the dynamic role of Physician 3 for the Monroe Correctional Complex in Monroe, WA, located just northeast of Seattle. The job duties of this position will be performed onsite at the facility. This position's primary duty is administrative supervision of PA/ARNP staff. We're looking for Physicians who are passionate about providing team-based, integrated care to patients with complex and challenging health conditions. Our Physicians work in a multi-disciplinary environment treating many people that are disenfranchised from outside medicine with untreated maladies and unusual pathology's. Physicians at DOC enjoy the satisfaction of practicing medicine while providing a positive compassionate experience for their patients. Our Physicians have no pressure of production-based patient care or insurance billing, and appreciate a good work-life balance.

Salary is based on experience and is determined at the time a final offer of employment is made. The salary range listed in the job posting includes Steps A-M. Step M is a longevity step and is typically gained six years after being assigned to Step L in your permanent salary range.
