As a 100% employee-owned company, employees share in the long-term success we build together.With flexible ways of working and meaningful development opportunities, you’ll build a career you can be proud to stand behind.The Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develop Electrical design for Industrial Manufacturing projects, which includes the manufacturing, ag/bio-process, food/beverage, oil refining, and packaging industries.Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate initiative.Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, panel schedules, field instrumentation, electrical installation details, and technical specifications.Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, including process, mechanical, instrumentation and controls, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.Coordinate with regional and global design teams.Do project studies – Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard AnalysisConstruction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues This role will support projects for North America.The Team As part of BV Operations, your skills will be aligned to projects that support our Technology, Commercial & Industrial market sector. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.EIT/EI, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.1+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services.Consulting and Industrial Manufacturing experience preferred.Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.Basic understanding of NEC/NFPA 70 requirements, and hazardous classified area concepts preferred.Familiarity with PLC wiring and controls is preferred.
