Position patients, select protocols, and ensure high-quality, diagnostic images. Administer contrast media as ordered; monitor patients for adverse reactions and document responses. Operate CT equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and protecting patient and staff from unnecessary exposure. Verify patient identity, transfer images to the PACS, and maintain accurate procedure documentation. Communicate procedures clearly to patients, maintain patient privacy, and assist with patient comfort during scanning.
