Job Title
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all Graymont safety standards, principles, policies, and procedures.
- Complete all required training as specified by MSHA and Graymont standards.
- Load rail cars and assist loading trucks as directed.
- All product handling responsibilities.
- Operate production equipment, including but not limited to the lime handling, crushing and screening processes and lime operations.
- Verify proper lubrication and fluid levels and perform standard lubrication tasks.
- Assist in preventative maintenance and other minor maintenance tasks on mobile and stationary plant equipment, including but not limited to front end loader, forklift, skid steer, street sweeper.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including but not limited to shoveling, sweeping, operating the street sweeper, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong safety values and commitment to working safely
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use a computer and to understand and use computer software.
- Ability to use various hand and electrical tools.
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairways, be capable of working at heights and in areas with fluctuating temperatures.
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner in person, through email and using radios or phones
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to work 8 to 12 hours.
- Ability to work any day, including weekends, holidays and any shift including overnight shifts.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extra hours on short notice.
